Sands China presents light the night run donation cheques to local associations

Sands China Ltd. presented ceremonial donation cheques totalling MOP200,000 to two local nongovernmental organizations on June 19 at The Venetian Macao integrated resort in Cotai.

The funds were raised at April’s Light the Night Run charity event at The Parisian Macao, with Sands China topping up the total donation amount with its own contribution.

Macau IC2 Association and Caritas Macau each received a cheque for MOP100,000 yeterday, presented by representatives from Sands China. The donations will be used by Macau IC2 Association to sponsor its upcoming Art for Community event, and by Caritas Macau to allow its users with restricted mobility gain free access to its stair climber service.

It is the second year in a row for the Light the Night Run to raise funds to donate to local nongovernmental organizations as part of Sands China’s corporate social responsibility efforts.
