Grand Lisboa Palace Art Gallery debuts ‘The Lisboa’

SJM’s Grand Lisboa Palace Art Gallery officially opened its doors yesterday, launching the permanent exhibition “The Lisboa, Stories of Macau.”
Officiated by dignitaries including Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference vice chairman Edmund Ho Hau Wah, the gallery features eight immersive zones blending AI, interactive games, and archival artifacts to narrate over 450 years of Macau’s history.
Highlights include a Treasure Pavilion showcasing Qing Dynasty imperial art.
SJM Resorts aims to foster local creative industries and tech-driven heritage preservation, with plans for a co-creation space and artist residencies in 2025. Admission is free and the gallery is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
