Macao-Water-CLG-MeetingMacao Water’s 8th Customer Liaison Group (CLG) held its first meeting in 2015 on Wednesday at Sands Hotel Macao. Participants included Wong Soi Man, Director of the Marine & Water Bureau and Leader of the Working Group for the Promotion of a Water-saving Society, Wong Man Tou, Government Representative at Macao Water, Fan Xiaojun, Macao Water’s Executive Director, Chu Wai Man, Chairman of Macao Water’s Customer Liaison Group, Chum Pak Tak, Vice Chairman of Macao Water’s Customer Liaison Group and other group members. The topics of the meeting included: Introduction to the Macao Water Mobile App, SEPBox Electronic Water Bill Delivery Service Promotional Activities and a Retrospect & Outlook of Water Conservation Measures.
The Company’s first Mobile App will be available in June 2015. Through the app, customers can manage their water usage on a smartphone, including balance check or bill payment, electronic water bill and SMS reminder service.
In 2014, Macao Water launched the Electronic Water Bill Delivery Service, replacing traditional paper bills with electronic ones and delivering to a monthly mailbox – via SEPBox for ensuring online privacy and security.
Moreover, this year, over 32,000 commercial and domestic customers have achieved their water-saving target, saving more than 1.2 million cubic meters of water in total.

With her strong operations background and local knowledge, Wong will work to further enhance the company’s community efforts under her leadership.
