Taiwanese singer Qing Shan and female performer Poon Sow Keng will bring their “Songs of Yesteryear Part 3 – Qing Shan & Poon Sow Keng” concert to The Venetian Macao on February 24.

Dubbed as the “Taiwan King of Songs,” Qing Shan has been singing for over 40 years. This true musical legend was a phenomenon in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau and other Chinese communities around the world especially in the 70s and 80s, Sands China said in a statement,

His greatest hits, including “Tears of Flower”, “Love is Hard to Guard”, “Wonderful Life”, “Searching for Dream Land” and “Green Island Serenade”, impacted Mandopop development at the time, and these songs have been covered by many singers, including Theresa Teng, Yao Su Rong and Yu Tian.

Poon Sow Keng was born in Macau and but grew up in Malaysia and was well-known for her song “Lovers’ Tears,” which she performed at age 18.

ICBC Sands Lifestyle Mastercard cardholders can receive a discount of up to 10 percent on tickets.
