01CBMGM Macau has prepared a Christmas experience blending the heritage of the Orient with Western traditions. Discover a sparkling Christmas Market at the Grande Praça, festive gourmet delights, Six Senses Spa promotions and the Red Sandalwood Art Exhibition this holiday.
All decked out in decorated Christmas stalls, the European-inspired Christmas Market at the Grande Praça offers an array of holiday favorites including Belgian waffles, French crêpes, Berliner German doughnuts, caramelized almonds, homemade ice-creams and more. Last but not least, be amused by Santa Claus figures as he’s fitted into unique costumes from more than 150 countries and cultures.

Sands China honors vendors at Sands Supplier Excellence Awards

SME WinnerSands China Ltd. held its Sands Supplier Excellence Awards Thursday at The Venetian Macao for the second consecutive year, honoring its suppliers for their cooperation and services in 2014. As a global initiative launched by Sands China’s parent company, Las Vegas Sands Corp., the awards are also one of the examples of Sands China’s efforts to procure products and services from companies in Macau.
“This is the second year Sands China has held these awards to show our appreciation to our suppliers for their partnership with Sands China, which focuses on delivering unforgettable experiences to our guests and visitors,” said Edward Tracy, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sands China Ltd. “Doing that well requires an incredible amount of teamwork, both internally from our 28,000 team members, and externally with our suppliers – whether large, medium or small enterprises.”

Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts appointsSteven Taylor chief marketing officer

stevenShangri-La Hotels and Resorts announces that Steven Taylor will join the company as chief marketing officer (CMO) on 5 January. He will be based in the group’s corporate office in Hong Kong and report to Shangri-La President and CEO Greg Dogan.
In his role as CMO, Taylor will oversee all functions across Shangri-La’s Sales and Marketing Division, including revenue management, sales, digital marketing, brand communications, loyalty and partner marketing, customer insights and relationship management, reservations and distribution and corporate communications.
