Corporate bits | MGM rolls out ‘Go Green Campaign’

MGM rolled out a two-week Go Green Campaign for its 6,000 employees in support of the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau’s (IACM) Green Week, as well as the annual Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum & Exhibition.

The campaign lasted from March 20 to April 3, and its itinerary included an Ocean Conservation talk and a Beach Cleaning activity. During the Ocean Conservation talk, employees were briefed on issues related to water pollution, particularly from plastic materials.

The Beach Cleaning activity saw a group of 37 MGM Volunteer Team members, with the support of the IACM, gather at a beach area near Sai Van Bridge on March 30.

The “Go Green Campaign” also included internal activities such as the launch of Green Monday in its employee dining room, which served healthy low-carbohydrate dishes.
