Sands China and Macau IC2 Association have come together to organise the IC2 Charity Fund Fun Walk event, to be held this Saturday.

According to a statement issued by the gaming operator, a total of 35 associations and 350 participants are being invited to the event, including children with special needs, their family members and volunteers.

Organized by a group of IC2 members with intellectual disabilities, the event aims to raise awareness of the wellbeing of people with intellectual disabilities and to promote green travel, and to also encourage more social interactions between the disabled and the able-bodied.

Funds raised by the event will be used to support the association’s operating expenses. The entry fee is MOP50 per person.

Two booths featuring handmade artwork and latte art demonstrations will be set up at Cotail Expo Hall D to showcase some of the children’s talents.

Macau IC2 Association is a self-help and non-profit organisation that offers regular training courses and organises different kinds of events and visits for its members.
