Corporate bits | sStudents complete summer training program at CEM

The Closing Ceremony of Summer Training Program 2016 undertaken by students from the University of Macau (UM) in the Companhia de Electricidade de Macau – CEM, S.A. (CEM) was held at the Theatre of the Students Activity Centre in the UM Hengqin campus at the end of September.
During the ceremony, Wong Pak Kin, Acting Dean of Faulty of Science and Technology of the University of Macau and Cecilia Nip, Communications and Public Affairs Office Senior Manager of CEM, awarded training certificates to 11 trainees.
According to a press release issued by CEM, in their speeches both Wong Pak Kin and Cecilia Nip noted their appreciation to all the management members, professors of the UM, and the tutors of CEM for their efforts contributing to the success of the program. CEM and UM  signed a cooperation agreement since 1991. The Summer Training Program provides an opportunity for UM students to step into CEM every summer to broaden their horizons and apply their academic knowledge at work.
