Melco Resorts and Entertainment Limited recently supported the first Macau Edinburgh Exchange Tour (MEET), enabling interaction between local Macau students and university students from Edinburgh as well as Cambodia.

According to a press release from Melco, local students from three middle schools under the guidance of the university students from Edinburgh and Cambodia, worked in groups to complete several interesting projects such as website development, human anatomy modelling and program coding writing. In the process of working on these projects, local students were able to put their organizational, communications and language skills to use.

The three-week program concluded last Friday with a graduation ceremony held at Warner Bros. Fun Zone, Studio City.

At the ceremony, acting deputy director of the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau (DESJ), Vicky Leong, stated, “The Macau government has always encouraged local youth to broaden their horizon and spend their long summer holiday wisely. Through MEET, students were able to get in touch with new concepts, and to learn to cooperate with those from a completely different cultural background. We are very glad that Melco offered support in several aspects of this program, which contributed to its success.”

BNU launches new visa infinite credit card

Local bank, Banco Nacional Ultramarino (BNU), is launching the “BNU Visa Infinite” credit card.

The BNU Visa Infinite card rewards cardholders with a one percent cash rebate from domestic and overseas transactions which is credited directly into their card account, without a maximum cap. Spending with the supplementary card will count towards the rebate of the principal card.

“The BNU Visa Infinite card is also the first credit card in Macau to participate in the Lounge Key program, giving principle cardholders unlimited complimentary access to over 850 airport VIP lounges around the world by simply showing the BNU Visa Infinite credit Card, which has the Lounge Key logo on the back, removing the need to carry an additional card for access,” noted Pedro Cardoso, CEO of BNU.

Other benefits to the BNU Visa Infinite credit card include complementary travel accident insurance and overseas emergency medical benefits, access to the Visa Infinite concierge service as well as 24-hour support through the BNU Visa Infinite customer service hotline.

The BNU Visa Infinite credit card is only available through invitation by BNU or referral from other existing BNU Visa Infinite cardholders.
