Images Of Casinos As Government Clamps Down On Money TransfersThe Venetian Macao will be in attendance with the Macau Trade and Investment Institute at the Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo (AIME), which is to be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, Australia, on February 23 and 24.
The event brings together decision-makers and buyers from across the Asia-Pacific region to provide updates about the latest from the travel industry.
To showcase its extensive conference and event services and its facilities, Venetian’s booth, bearing the number 4314, will promote the new product offerings and meeting spaces at Sands Resorts Cotai Strip Macao, which boasts 140,000 square meters of “flexible and versatile” meeting and exhibition space.
Conference organizers event planners and delegates can take advantage of a range of promotions that are part of “Macao Meetings with More” including discounts on packages and complimentary rooms. This offer will be valid until December 22, 2017.
The Venetian promises that its production team will create events with spectacular entertainment tailored to the needs of its clients.  Among the entertainment on offer will be “Streetmosphere” performers, singing gondoliers and characters from the DreamWorks Experience.
A press release issued by Sands Resorts Cotai Strip Macao also noted that the Parisian Macao is soon to bring an additional luxury experience to the city, along with more restaurants, shopping and entertainment options.

2.30airbnbairbnb study finds travellers mix business with pleasure

A study developed by Airbnb and CWT Solutions Group has unveiled some trends observed among Airbnb passengers that appear to show business travellers mixing business and leisure travel.
The findings showed that business travellers spent around twice as long in Airbnb accommodation when compared with traditional accommodation, indicating that professionals may be extending their trips to the proximate weekend, mixing their business trip with leisure activities.
Also according to the findings, slightly over a third of business travel bookings with Airbnb were for more than one person, and around 45 percent of the travel was international.
“Since introducing Airbnb for Business, we’ve seen the number of companies using it grow enormously,” said Chip Conley, Head of Global Hospitality and Strategy at Airbnb.
“Businesses have clearly been longing for a better way to manage their employee’s travel needs and business travellers seem eager for change from the traditional business travel accommodations.”
The top destinations for business travel according to the data analyzed included San Francisco, London and New York City.
