Hong Kong’s first ever “boy band,” legendary rockers The Wynners will bring their Wynners Never Say Goodbye Live 2017 concert to the Cotai Arena at the Venetian Macao on January 21.
Once a renowned idol group in Hong Kong, with their success spilling over to include a television show and movies, the members then went on to enjoy successful solo careers. However, such is their enduring popularity that they continue to sell out venues whenever they reunite to perform, as cited in a press release issued by Sands China.
At their concerts the band typically perform some 50 songs, including classic covers in English, their own hit numbers and newer songs such as “Fortunate to be Together” and “Wynners Spirit”, which is also the main theme of this concert.
Tickets go on sale today at all Cotai Ticketing box offices.
Melco Crown awarded with quality management certification
Melco Crown Entertainment Limited (MCE) announced that it “has become the first hotel operator in Macau to have been awarded the newest and the more rigorous version of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System standard.”
According to a press release issued by the operator, MCE’s Food and Beverage Service Quality team recently received the ISO 9001:2015 certification from the British Standards Institution (BSI).
The accreditation is the latest addition to MCE’s list of accomplished ISO standards. Among them was the company’s flagship property, City of Dreams, which was the first integrated resort in Macau to have achieved the ISO 14064 Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Inventories and Verification certification. MCE was also the first hotel-resort company in Macau to receive the ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management Certification and Indoor Environmental Quality Certificate.
Further, MCE’s food and beverage teams at City of Dreams and Altira Macau have both received the Gold Award at the 2016 Quality Food Traceability Scheme, and also the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) food safety certification.
