Photo 4-10-14 14 44 11The Public Security Police (PSP) again implemented pedestrian traffic flow control measures in the city center – namely Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro (San Ma Lou) – and at the Barrier Gate checkpoint during the Golden Week holiday period because too many people were thronging the areas. The National Day holiday, which started Wednesday in the mainland, will end tomorrow. Due to overcrowding, pedestrian one-way traffic was implemented in San Ma Lou district near Largo do Senado. Latest statistics from the Tourism Office revealed that 288,575 tourists entered Macau on the first two days of October, which represents an increase of 9.5 percent year-on-year.
