Registration opened this week for ecological activities in the city’s Ecological Zones this month. The activities are run by the Environmental Protection Bureau (DSPA), and spaces are limited, closing once all spaces are filled. The public “Open Day” tours on Sept. 5 and 19 at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. offer 120 places for two-hour guided visits through Ecological Zone 1 and the larger Zone 2 to observe plants and birds. For children, a youngsters’ “Educational Nature Activity” workshop takes place on Sept. 5. On Sept. 19, a “Learning More About Fish” workshop offers 50 places.
