Education bureau funds schools with anti-mosquito equipment

In response to dengue and chikungunya cases in the city and nearby regions, the Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ) has launched a subsidy program for schools to purchase mosquito-control equipment, including sprayers and traps. Training has also been provided for frontline staff on mosquito eradication techniques. Director Kong Chi Meng said schools and the Health Bureau maintain a monitoring system, with contingency plans such as partial or full class suspensions if large-scale infections occur.
