Education bureau urges early travel planning as new school year begins
The Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ) expects heavier traffic across the city in the early days of the new school year and has coordinated with the Transport Bureau and other departments. Schools have been asked to exercise discretion when handling student lateness caused by unforeseen traffic or weather conditions. Parents and students are urged to plan routes in advance, leave home early and prioritize walking or public transportation.
