Last Sunday, Sofitel Macau and Alliance Française de Macao presented the Paris Combo Sunset Rooftop Party. Many gathered with drinks on their hands as they grooved to the beats of Paris Combo, famous musical group from France. A group with an eclectic style, Paris Combo blends elements from the traditional French chanson, American jazz and swing, Roma music and North African music. Five albums and two decades spent crisscrossing the globe where they been performing live in Europe, North America and Australia, playing to enthusiastic audiences from Paris to Sao Paulo and Berlin to Istanbul, have enabled France’s Paris Combo to create a unique cosmopolitan sound, establishing the band as one of the most piquant, intriguing groups on the international music scene.  Fronted by the charismatic vocals of chanteuse Belle du Berry, the combo have struck a chord with critics and audiences alike for their fun-loving mix of swinging gypsy jazz, cabaret, French pop and Latino and Middle Eastern rhythms.
Macau’s performance made an artful blend of local culture and French soul. While chilling out in an outdoor setting with a laid-back vibe, stunning sunset and great food prepared by the chefs, guests seamlessly experienced French art de vivre right in the heart of old Macau at Ponte 16.
