Galaxy co-launches parenting education initiative

The Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ) of the SAR government has partnered with Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) to strengthen parenting education and vocational training through a new corporate-school collaboration.
Earlier this week, DSEDJ director Kong Chi Meng and GEG director Philip Cheng co-signed the “Nurturing Future Together” memorandum of understanding, which will provide employee training programs and organize parenting and parent-child activities to enhance family well-being.
In addition, GEG has established partnerships with four local schools to support curriculum development and practical training in areas including information technology, finance, tourism, business, fitness, and interior design.
The collaborations aim to offer internships and career pathways for students while fostering technical talent to support Macau’s economic diversification.
Since 2021, DSEDJ has worked with six integrated resort operators and conducted over 200 parenting education events in 2025, reaching more than 9,000 participants, reflecting an ongoing push to integrate corporate resources with education.
