The Guia Hill Cable Car resumed normal operations during the weekend after a comprehensive safety inspection confirmed all systems were functioning properly, the Municipal Affairs Bureau said. Services had been suspended after a lightning strike late last week caused a sensor malfunction. The bureau said damaged components were replaced and system tests were completed by midday. It added that, alongside annual safety inspections and routine maintenance, it will continue monitoring the cable car to ensure safe and stable operations for the public.
