Hotel security guard arrested for alleged sexual harassment
A hotel security guard in his 30s has been apprehended for allegedly sexually harassing a female passer-by. Police said the incident occurred Saturday afternoon when a woman in her 20s reported being slapped on the buttocks while walking along Av. de Horta e Costa. Utilizing the “Eyes in the Sky” surveillance system, police identified and intercepted the suspect the following evening. Despite his denial of the crime, evidence from the surveillance footage indicated he had committed an inappropriate act, leading to the case being forwarded to the Public Prosecutions Office for further action.
