Lord Stow’s Bakery has raised HKD45,728 during its annual Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign last month.

The funds were generated through the sale of pink ribbon cookies and rose coffee, with 50% of the proceeds donated to the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation.

Audrey Stow, director and chief executive of Lord Stow’s Bakery, emphasized the importance of early detection in a statement.

“The event reminds everyone to conduct regular checkups at home and to schedule annual screenings,” she said. With a survival rate of 97.5% for early-stage breast cancer, Stow highlighted the critical nature of awareness and early intervention.

The bakery and cafes have raised HKD164,803 for breast cancer initiatives.

Last year alone, the bakery’s fundraising contributed HKD38,166 to the foundation.
