An exciting day’s rugby was had at the 2nd Lusofonia Touch Tournament last weekend. The Cup final was played between Macau Marauders and Portugal Wolves, both of whom had comprehensively won their group games with maximum points. A tough and highly competitive final ensued with the Marauders winning by 2 tries to nil, thus retaining the Cup they had won last year.
The Plate final saw newcomers Guinea-Bissau Cranes win 2-1 against Brasil Buccaneers while Mocambique Panthers overcame Cape Verde Blue Sharks 3-1 to win the Bowl and Angola Palancas defeated Timor Leste 4-0 to win the Shield final.
