The annual Lusophone-Macau Featured Product Fair will launch at the end of this month with the first stop at the Largo Camões in Taipa.
Officially branded “Chai Chai Pou” (Be Portuguese Together), the event is organized by the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM). The event will be held from October to December.
23 local small and medium enterprises will be participating in the first phase of the event, which will be held between October 28 and 30. Some products featured during the period include alcoholic beverages, coffee, food items, seasonings, decorative goods and accessories.
Shopping discount offers will be offered at the event. Sessions will also be held to familiarize shoppers with lusophone and Macau brands.
Throughout the entire Chai Chai Pou duration, entertainment and shows will also be presented. The program will include lusophone singing and dancing, culinary skill showcases and artistic workshops. In addition, social media check-in spots will also be set up to attract a wider range of visitors.
Other stops for the Chai Chai Pou festival include the Legend Boulevard at the Macau Fisherman’s Wharf and the Complex of Commerce and Trade Co-operation Platform for China and Portuguese-speaking Countries. AL
