M Plus secures exclusive Premier League and FA Cup broadcast rights through 2028

M Plus Sports Media Limited (M Plus) has announced that it has secured exclusive broadcasting rights for major football competitions in the Macau market, starting with the 2025-26 season and continuing through 2027-28.

In an interview with the Times, a company official revealed that the broadcasting rights include English Premier League matches and those from the English FA Cup (Football Association Challenge Cup).

M Plus will deliver the broadcasts through various channels in partnership with Macau Cable TV.

The same official noted that the matches will primarily be broadcast via the “M Plus App” and the “M Plus Channel” on Macau Cable TV.

The company stated it is committed to bringing top-tier football leagues to the Macau community through its platforms, while also providing premium sports entertainment to local audiences.

In addition to the Premier League and FA Cup, M Plus has been a regular broadcaster of the Spanish football league “La Liga,” the Italian “Serie A,” and Australia’s “A-League,” among others.

The offering is not limited to football; M Plus also broadcasts top basketball events, including the NBA from the USA and Spain’s “Liga Endesa.”

M Plus was the only local broadcaster to screen matches of UEFA EURO 2024, held last year.
