Macao Orchestra to present Beethoven, Brahms and Elgar

The Macao Orchestra will present the concert “Beethoven’s Emperor by Haochen Zhang” this Saturday at the University of Macau’s University Hall (N2). British master conductor Christopher Warren-Green will conduct several classical pieces, and internationally renowned pianist Haochen Zhang will perform Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5 in E-flat Major, Op. 73 “Emperor.” Warren-Green, music director of the London Chamber Orchestra and Conductor Laureate of the Charlotte Symphony in North Carolina, who has served as a conductor for many of the British Royal Family’s celebrations, will also join forces with the Macao Orchestra to perform works including Brahms’ “Academic Festival Overture” (1880) and Elgar’s “Enigma Variations” (1899).
