Macau will send 85 athletes to compete in 15 sports at next month’s Asian Games in Nagoya, acting Sports Bureau (ID) president Lei Si Leng said yesterday. Delegation members are training locally and abroad as they prepare for the Games, which start on September 19. As reported, a Sports Committee meeting yesterday also reviewed athlete support, event organization, and community sports resources. Meanwhile, the Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ) and the Sports Bureau will launch a joint program in the new school year to identify and develop local talent through school-sports collaboration.
