A local man in his 60s died after being struck by a car in Zone A on Friday afternoon. Public Security Police received a report at 5:42 p.m. and found the victim lying behind the vehicle. He was taken to hospital but died after midnight. Investigators believe the car struck him while turning and that he may have crossed outside a designated pedestrian crossing. The driver passed a breathalyzer test, while police appealed for witnesses or anyone with information about the incident.
