Beijing: New CE report arrangements highlights importance of SARs

The format of this year’s Chief Executive Reports to the National Leader, presented in a different format compared to previous years, highlights the country’s emphasis on the two Special Administrative Regions and the work conducted by their respective governments, as reported by Xinhua News Agency. The adjusted format is also reported to be “conducive to improving the system and Beijing’s full governance of the two SARs.” The agency’s report also highlighted the full compliance of the new arrangement with the country’s constitution as well as the Basic Laws of the SARs.
