Melco Resorts & Entertainment marked the graduation of 10 participants from its Foundation Acceleration Program (Culinary) and welcomed 16 new enrollees at a special event highlighting achievements in culinary excellence and sustainable practices.
The ceremony was attended by senior officials including Lawrence Ho, chairman & CEO of Melco, and representatives from the Labour Affairs Bureau (DSAL) and Macao University of Tourism (UTM).
Launched in 2021, the Culinary FAP is Macau’s first structured program aimed at nurturing local talent in the culinary sector through on-the-job training, cross-functional rotations, mentorship, and management development.
Since its inception, the program has graduated 52 participants, with more than 60 percent receiving promotions.
According to the gaming operator, this initiative forms part of Melco’s broader “Whole Person Development” approach, providing local residents with skills and career progression opportunities.
