MGM Resorts International has appointed Keith Barr, former CEO of IHG Hotels & Resorts, to its Board of Directors. With over 30 years in the industry, Barr is recognized globally for his leadership transforming IHG through innovation and a customer-centric approach. As CEO from 2017 to 2023, he drove revenue growth, operational efficiency and culture changes. MGM Chair Paul Salem said Barr’s experience in areas like technology, sales and marketing will be invaluable in advising MGM Resorts. CEO Bill Hornbuckle agreed, stating Barr’s insights obtained through building an international business would support MGM’s own international expansion plans.
