Private car crashes into stone curb; two injured taken to hospital

A private car crashed into a stone curb on Avenida Dr. Henry Fok near the Morpheus hotel in Taipa. On July 4 at around 9 a.m., police received a report of an incident involving a local male driver in his 30s and a female passenger in her 20s, who suffered bruises to their hands and shoulders and were taken to Kiang Wu Hospital’s Taipa Clinic. The accident caused the barrier to detach, and the car’s airbags deployed. The Public Security Police (PSP) said the incident may have been caused by the driver failing to control the vehicle’s speed while turning; the driver has been charged, and no pedestrians were injured.
