MGM collaborates with tech firms to aid smart city development

MGM has joined hands with two local tech enterprises to carry out “smart” upgrades at the gaming operator’s properties. According to a statement, the digital enhancements will be “instrumental in elevating MGM’s hotel and marketing operations, meeting the demand for technologies among today’s travelers.”

MGM and Pachira Enterprises Limited inked a strategic cooperation framework agreement earlier in December.

The collaboration will see a series of technological upgrades at MGM, like automated room reservations using AI-powered voice agents, smart dial-in and dial-out systems and smart marketing.

On the same day, MGM and DigitalBay, a digital marketing SME founded by a young entrepreneur in Macau using innovative approaches, also entered a partnership to jointly explore growth opportunities. Under the collaboration, the “MGM Room Service Mini Program” will be integrated with DigitalBay’s latest WeChat community marketing Software-as-a-Service product, “Interactive Marketing Cloud.”
