Macau will welcome the opening of the “City Terminal for Hong Kong International Airport” at MGM Cotai on Feb. 4, the gaming operator announced.
The facility is a collaboration between Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), Zhuhai Airport, MGM, and China Travel Tours Transportation Services Hong Kong Limited, aimed at improving cross-border travel and tourism services within the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area.
This marks the first off-airport and overseas check-in terminal jointly operated by HKIA and Zhuhai Airport in Macau.
According to a statement, the terminal features self-service check-in counters, real-time flight information, and SkyLimo transport links, offering travelers a streamlined experience for flights to and from Hong Kong.
Organizers said the new facility will also support the city’s position as a regional tourism hub while enhancing convenience for both business and leisure travelers.
