MGM explores technology and cultural tourism in Greater Bay Area

A 29-member MGM management team, led by Kenneth Feng, president and executive director of MGM China Holdings Limited, conducted a two-day study trip across the Greater Bay Area (GBA) focused on technology and cultural tourism.

The team visited enterprises and cultural sites including Huawei, K11 ECOAST, DJI, Nanshan Museum, and Nantou Ancient Town to gain insights into industry innovation and heritage preservation.

Feng said, “Through these visits, we gained valuable insights into how technology is reshaping various industries and merging with cultural creativity to foster the ‘experience economy’.”

Delegates noted key takeaways from Huawei’s innovation practices and the use of digital technology to reimagine Dunhuang art at Nanshan Museum.

The visit also included K11 ECOAST and DJI’s exhibition hall, showcasing the fusion of design, technology, and storytelling, according to a statement issued by the gaming operator.
