MGTO: 70,000 daily arrivals in June

The daily average of tourism arrivals stood at 70,000 last month, 4,000 of which hailed from overseas, according to Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) director Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes. Senna Fernandes added that the bureau is planning to launch further travel discounts for international passengers and plans to cooperate with overseas airlines such as Air Asia to promote the city, as cited in a TDM report. In mid-July, the authorities will go to South Korea to hold a roadshow for tourism promotion. They also plan to do a roadshow in Malaysia.
