Unmanned vehicles in Hengqin to commence new route

Unmanned vehicles in Hengqin will start a new route this month, traveling between Hengqin Port and Chimelong and other stations. During the summer vacation period, passengers will be able to ride for free. The Urban Planning and Construction Bureau of the zone stated that it would gradually open the roads in the central and southern parts of the island as roads for the application of driverless cars based on the operational data of intelligent networked vehicle test roads and the road conditions.
