MGTO reconnects with Europe

The Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) participated in the ITB Berlin last week, marking its return to the premier travel trade show post-pandemic. MGTO Director Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes led promotional activities, aiming to strengthen ties with German-speaking markets. During a reception, MGTO showcased Macau’s “Tourism+” offerings, including its UNESCO heritage sites and integrated resorts. With over 40 attendees, the event highlighted ongoing efforts to boost international visitor arrivals from Europe, reflecting a renewed focus on long-haul tourism.
