MGTO roadshow in Lisbon attracted nearly 44,000

The five-day Experience Macao Roadshow in Lisbon attracted nearly 44,000 people, and many residents and visitors posted about it on social media, the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) said in a statement as the event ended early this week.
Jointly organized by the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), the Lisbon City Council, and the Cultural Equipment and Animation Management Company (“Lisbon Culture”) (EGEAC), the roadshow was integrated into the Street Festivals, an annual festivity organized by the Lisbon City Council that takes the city’s Praça do Comércio as the main stage.
It featured themed zones and various performances, including a fado performance, a “Light of Macao” dance show, colorful performances by the Street Festivals, and a drone show.
In addition, booths featuring technology in design were present, collaboratively run by the Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM), Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC), Sports Bureau, and the six integrated resort enterprises.
The Guangdong-Macau In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin also promoted double-destination travel to Macau and Hengqin at its booth.
MGTO and Abreu, a renowned travel platform in Portugal, partnered to launch a variety of special travel offers, such as Macao tourism products and double-destination travel to Macau, mainland China, Japan, Korea, and Hong Kong.
These offers are available until February 2026 and will be promoted on social media and other sales platforms. Times Reporter
