MGTO roadshow to kick off in Bangkok

Following the recent roadshow in South Korea, the Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO) will launch its 2025 “Experience Macao” roadshow tomorrow, at Siam Paragon, spotlighting Macau’s appeal as a multi-dimensional destination for Thai residents.

The MGTO says that it aims to showcase Macau’s vibrant “tourism +” offerings and strengthen ties with Thailand’s travel market.

Ahead of the roadshow, MGTO says that a “Macau Tourism + MICE Product Updates Seminar & Travel Mart” is being held today to bring together Macau and Thai travel professionals to explore new tourism products and business partnerships.

Running until June 8, the event marks MGTO’s first major Southeast Asia roadshow this year. At this week’s event, MGTO has organized appearances by Thai artists – such as the girl group PIXXIE and Thai actor and singer Perth.

The Bangkok “Experience Macao” roadshow will feature six integrated resort enterprises – just like in South Korea. Airlines and travel agencies will also participate in the roadshow.

According to tourist arrival statistics provided by MGTO, Thailand ranks as Macau’s fifth-largest international visitor market, with 54 weekly direct flights connecting the two regions.

MGTO also says that it has collaborated with Thai e-payment platforms to offer visitors convenient payment options and discounts during the roadshow.
