MGTO uncovers two illegal accommodations
Police uncovered two illegal hotels in the Taipa and NAPE following reports received last month. Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) confirmed that both units were illegally providing accommodation and immediately sealed the premises. Officers found 11 mainland Chinese nationals at the two locations, including one person suspected of working illegally. Police said the individuals had rented the units through intermediaries for between HKD100 and HKD350 per day. The cases have been referred to the relevant authorities for follow-up.
