MSAR delegation seeks health partnerships in Brazil

The SAR government led a delegation to Brazil to expand medical collaboration and promote health industries from mainland China and Macau. The visit, organized by the Macao Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute, saw more than 40 representatives join an eight-day visit to São Paulo. There, attendees visited exhibitions, held meetings, and conducted site visits. Cooperation agreements were signed with Brazilian partners, including pharmaceutical bodies and companies. According to IPIM, participants cited strong prospects in the biopharmaceutical sector and said the trip would deepen trade ties with Portuguese-speaking countries, reinforcing Macau’s role as a platform linking China and Brazil.
