New batch of elderly apartment applications announced

The Social Welfare Bureau will allow eligible applicants for government-subsidized elderly apartments to select their units in phases from April 28 to May 21, with agreements signed in late May to June. Applicants who submitted their applications by the 14th of last month can check their results starting tomorrow. Currently, about 740 households occupy these apartments, and over 410 new applications have been received, involving more than 570 individuals. Total occupied units are expected to exceed 1,000.
