The Judiciary Police (PJ) said it received 219 pieces of fraud-related tips and information voluntarily submitted by the public over the past eight days (May 8–15). The majority involved phishing text message scams, totaling 192 cases, followed by 24 cases of impersonation of law enforcement or judicial authorities. There was also one case each of fake customer service scams, investment fraud, and nude chat extortion, all of which resulted in no financial losses. PJ urged the public to stay alert to anti-fraud information and share guidance with family and friends to help prevent scams.
