Drunk driver hits woman on crosswalk

Public Security Police uncovered two drunk driving cases, arresting a local man and woman. A man in his 50s struck a mainland female pedestrian at a crosswalk on Avenida do Estádio in Cotai around 11 p.m. Sunday, leaving her hospitalized. His blood alcohol level was 2.39 g/L. Separately, a local woman in her 50s recorded 1.91 g/L after a lane-change crash in Taipa on Saturday night. Both admitted drinking before driving earlier.
