‘Pop Mart Macao Citywalk’ generated MOP680 million in spending

The Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) has revealed that the first phase of the “Pop Mart Macao Citywalk” attracted over 150,000 visitors and generated approximately MOP680 million in consumption.

Preliminary statistics released by MGTO indicate that the event attracted about 153,000 visitors to installations at four community districts and the vicinity of POP STATION during the first phase, which took place from June 6 to June 28.

The bureau also noted approximately 620,000 entries in the consumption lucky draw, with transactions totaling MOP680 million.

MGTO stated that the campaign features a four-phase lucky draw. In the first phase, participants won about 59,000 limited-edition Pop Mart gifts and discount vouchers.

Additionally, during the same period, around 11,500 individuals took photos at installations to share on social media in exchange for limited-edition postcards. Due to high participation, all postcards were claimed within one hour of daily service openings.

Approximately 73,000 people also visited the Pop Station at the Ritz Building in Senado Square.

The system will remain the same during the upcoming phases through September 21, with the only change being the prizes offered.

In the current phase (June 29 to July 26), a Dimoo card bag is available. The next phase, running from July 27 to August 23, will offer a Crybaby hand towel as the prize.
A Labubu mirrored ornament will be available during the fourth and final phase (August 24 – September 21).

Participants can join the lucky draw up to three times per e-payment tool per phase, with a maximum of 12 entries during the entire campaign.

36 million online impressions

MGTO’s marketing campaign, launched across platforms like WeChat, Weibo, Douyin, Xiaohongshu, TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram – as well as POP MART’s official accounts – has garnered over 36 million online impressions.

Mainland KOLs (key opinion leaders) supported the campaign with livestreams, posts, and videos. To date, 190 related pieces of content have been released.
