Sands China Ltd., in collaboration with the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) and the Consumer Council, has launched the 2025 Quality Retail Service Seminar Series to strengthen the retail and tourism sectors.
The program kicked off with an opening ceremony last month at The Londoner Macao, followed by its first seminar focused on smart communication in hospitality.
Now in its third year, the initiative targets retail and tourism practitioners, aiming to improve service standards and enhance the city’s reputation as a premier shopping destination.
According to a statement released by the gaming operator, the series aligns with the government’s “tourism + retail” strategy and supports the city’s broader economic diversification goals.
Four seminars will be held throughout the year, led by industry professionals sharing insights on customer service trends.
The series is part of the Sands Retail Academy, which has trained over 13,000 professionals since its founding and was recognized with a PATA Gold Award in 2023.
