Showers expected later this week as trough approaches

Macau will see increased showers and cloud cover later this week as a low-pressure trough moves toward the South China coast, according to the Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau. Over the next two days, the city will remain under a southerly airstream, bringing sunny conditions and hot weather during the daytime. Temperatures are forecast to reach highs of around 29 degrees Celcius from April 14 to 16. Forecasters said conditions are expected to turn more unsettled toward the end of the week.
