Two shuttle buses collided around 7:30 p.m. Saturday on the Amizade Bridge. A Melco bus struck the rear of a Grand Lisboa Palace shuttle while swerving to avoid a broken-down vehicle. Both were heading from Taipa to Macau. The hit bus sustained rear dents, while the other’s windshield was shattered. Passengers, aged 23 to 63, were sent to the hospital. Government data shows the Amizade Bridge is among Macau’s most accident-prone sites, with 476 crashes in 2024 and 37 in January 2025.
