Stanley Ho’s eldest daughter dies at 67

Jane Ho — the eldest daughter of Macau business magnate Stanley Ho and his first wife, Clementina Angela Leitão (1942–2004) — died on December 4 in Hong Kong at the age of 67, the All-China Women’s Federation announced yesterday.
Born in 1947, Jane Ho married Siu Pak-sing (1950–2011) — son of Hong Kong Funeral Home founder Siu Ming (1941–1986) — in 1975. The couple divorced in 1981, the same year that Jane’s younger brother, Robert Ho, was killed in a car accident.
According to the information published by the All-China Women’s Federation, over the past few years, Jane Ho had been fighting through a number of illnesses and was admitted to Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital.
The deceased’s daughter, Ringo Siu, revealed that before passing away, Jane Ho was dealing with kidney necrosis and eventually died from a stroke.
Jane Ho, who in her younger years had had been living in the United Kingdom and studying law, was once listed among Fortune Magazine’s 50 Most Powerful Women in Business. Her funeral will be held in Hong Kong today, and her body will be buried at the Ho family’s ancestral grave.
