Two local men, aged 47 and 53, have been arrested by the Judiciary Police (PJ) for allegedly forcing a female migrant worker to provide sexual services at a massage parlor in the Nam Van area.
The suspects, identified as the manager and owner of the establishment, face charges related to procuring prostitution and have been referred to the Public Prosecutions Office.
According to the PJ, a foreign woman reported that she began working at the parlor as a massage therapist in July 2024.
Two months into her employment, the owner allegedly coerced her into providing masturbation services to clients.
The woman claimed to have served over 100 clients, receiving MOP150 per session. She reportedly complied due to financial pressure, including fees owed to an intermediary agency and the need to send money home.
The PJ launched an investigation in early June after receiving a referral from the Public Security Police.
On July 1, they raided two residential units in Areia Preta and apprehended the two suspects, who refused to cooperate.
Authorities also detained another massage therapist and two support staff for questioning. Evidence, including “massage oil and receipts linked to at least eight therapists”, was seized. LV
