Validity of Chinese visa for non-Chinese in Macau extended

The validity of Chinese visas issued in Macau for non-Chinese living or working here has been extended, the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs  announced on its website yesterday. Chinese visas for the purposes of business, tourism and family visitation, among other nonspecific purposes, will be eligible. Non-Chinese permanent residents of Macau will be eligible to apply for multiple-entry visas of a maximum validity of five years. Non-Chinese non-permanent Macau residents will be eligible for two-year (maximum) multiple-entry visas. Non-Chinese professionals will be eligible for one-year (maximum) multiple-entry visas. Non-Chinese non-professionals, including domestic workers, will be eligible for six-month (maximum) multiple-entry visas.
